Hi James--
Let us know how it goes with Sony. You need to make a friend there
who can see that your disc is given adequate attention. I assume
there's no charge, so someone has got to be motivated to help you.
I'd put my pessimism on permanent hold. There are also some accounts
in the users group of recoveries being done DIY so a lot of your
success depends on your efforts. Rob D.
