But that's kind of a tall order in some cases. >>

It's an unfortunate fact of physics that miniature mic diaphragms
simply can't achieve the signal to noise specs of larger diaphragms,
so any binaural rig that is head worn is fated to a poorer noise
performance than other methods can provide.
