Wow, with all those constraints, it sure gets tough to get an affordable mi= c. I believe the max SPL of 106 dB is with the recorder's PIP only; it goe= s up to 121 dB with a 9V battery module, and 131 db with phantom power. 15dB self-noise? Wow I can't afford anything that low. The AT4022 sure is a nice mic, with great specs, but way too expensive for = me. Maybe I need to rethink this recording hobby. In world of photography one = can still make a decent go in the hobby without having to buy Leica cameras= and lenses, but in audio recording, I guess there is no compromise? |
