The Olympus LS-10 received some bad press from audiophiles who didn't like = the way the LS-10's preamp attenuated low frequency sound. Below about 100= Hz, the sound is attenuated several dB. It's like having a low cut filter= that's permanently switched on. Olympus probably did this to help mask no= ises your hand might make when holding the recorder. The bass roll-off is not an issue with the LS-11. --oryoki |
