Hi-- I did not mean to recommend the EM172->H2 combo for anything other than on-the-go recording. When I've used EM172's on my H2, I couldn't discern that the H2's 3.5mm mic input noise was burying the self-noise of the mics. It could be, I suppose,... Has anyone made a test of the H2's 3.5mm inputs adding a Rolls or Art Phantom II with very low noise mics in the comparison? If not, I can so we can hear what's going on. Rob D. |
