<<A very useful stand alone broadband noise reduction system is RX from Izotope ($349 U S). .. much better than Soundsoap (lite version).>> The lite version of SoundSoap is pretty much a toy, not really suited for serious audio restoration. SoundSoap Pro is a very powerful broadband noise eliminator with a very intuitive graphic equalizer style user interface. How these two can share a product name, as though one is a more limited version of the other, is beyond me. They have nothing in common, either in the user controls or the expected results.
