The thing I like about TimeCapsule and Time Machine is the complete archive=
that it generates. So I can get a copy of the file from a couple of hours =
ago to last week, or even months ago.
I also keep an up to date clone of the hard drive as well.
The whole concept of Time Machine and Time Capsule fits me.
Others may find it useful as well which is why I mentioned it.

The advantage to Time Machine is that the user doesn't have to think
about it. The disadvantage is that it doesn't create a bootable backup
of the system. Carbon Copy Cloner does, so that's what I use to mirror
boot drives. That way all applications, with their authorizations, are
backed up outside the compter. All audio files are on external drives,
which I back up manually with Switch Back, which tracks changes to the
source files.
