Hi Dean--
There are other factors to consider, but for your ME-67, up to the
standard of your Hi-MD in terms of mic input noise, there are only
four new card recorders that compare: Fostex
FR-2LE, SONY PCM-D50, Marantz PMD661 and Marantz PMD671. The D50
seems to get the most raves and tests best for low noise after the
Fostex,.. None are as small as your Hi-MD.
