Hi Travis,

Don't overlook the Marantz PMD 620 if you plan on really long term or unatt=
ended recordings.  Some of the recorders don't behave so well when you get =
to the 2GB .WAV file limit.  I'm using mine for frog calls, and am very hap=
py with the results, the current record being 36 hours continuously with an=
 external battery.  I apologize for a post along the lines of 'Well, MY fav=
orite is...', but I nearly did overlook the Marantz, associating the name w=
ith cheezy stereo amplifiers of the 1970s.
