Great recordings - I love the sense of space that comes from recording
across open water. Sadly most of the lakes around here are either near urba=
n
centres or major roads which rather ruins the effect!
I'm currently experimenting with a sound absorbent baffle between the two
microphones, similar to your Jecklin style setup... still trying to get a
feel for how it affect the stereo field in terms of width and "hole in the
middle" effects.
