There is a nice suite of processing from Izotope that can do similar things, as well as some very sophisticated noise reuction for a nice price: <http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/rx/> I've been able to remove coughs, squeaks, chair noises from live recordings, as well as remove man made sounds from nature. It can take away hiss very nicely too. <L> On Feb 8, 2009, at 1:09 AM, Greg Simmons wrote: Samplitude/Sequoia offers some impressive FFT EQ, where you can notch out a single frequency (or frequency bucket?) without affecting frequencies on either side - unlike a notch filter. I have used it to remove feedback from live concert recordings; impressive stuff. |
