However I know of no dynamic mics which could be usable for ambient sound recording.>> The Sennheiser MD441 is a dynamic model which provides a level of detail consistent with many condensers, although at a lower output level, as to be expected. In the past Bernie Krause has used Beyer M201's in situations hostile to condensers & he might have useful comments about those. Scott Fraser |
