Hmmm, interesting. Certainly worthy of consideration.
I have just this minute received my LS-10. I haven't even read the
instructions yet, but took it to my bedroom where a top light was open.
Outside, young Starlings were clammering noisily and I made a brief
recording with the onboard mikes with foams attached, mike sens high. I
stuck the file on the computer and opened with Audition. Without going
into pointless further details, my initial reaction is I'm chuffed as nuts!
Bear in mind I am a beginner and my ears certainly aren't as well tuned
as some of you experts.
I'm going out onto the fens this afternoon where background noise,
although not eliminated, will give me a better chance of making a
slightly more critical analysis; I'll report later.
Max
