I think what you are saying here, John is pretty accurate! Remember
though, I'm basically the messenger trying to do something to
accommodate others too. We have had over 80 new subscribers to the new
group and 9/10's of them added that it was good to get away from
excessive gear talk! Not my words but others.. As a moderator of the
group I get more than just the postings, I have e-mails complaining
about the direction of the group and before any rot gets set in, I
have to think of ways to accommodate these people. I do believe its
the intensity of the group now that gets into the face of others. I
started moderating this group when we had 490 members, as you say
there are nearly 1500 now. Please do not think I have an agenda with
people here, I am partly the messenger too....
