Hi All, I have an AT-895 for sale. For those that are not familiar with this extraordinary mic it is more directional than a parabola with none of the LF rolloff limitations. It also has a planar mode. It uses 5 capsules and a DSP processor to derive the directional information. The downside? - 5 summing capsules means an unacceptably high noise floor for some people. This mic retailed for over =A32,500 originally and comes in a custom flightcase with a custom built rycote wind protector and mount. It is much less cumbersome than any parabolic solution. I am advertising elsewhere but would much prefer to sell to a nature recordist! Best, Tom |
