To be clear the W5D windscreen is a hollow foam sphere with a plastic
cage that fits over a Schoeps, or another mic if you use spacers.  I
use the successfully on my DPA mics in the field, with a rubber tubing
spacer.  The Sennheiser 80xx require less thick of a spacer.
