I agree with David. I have used them both in the studio and in the field for
a number of years. I wouldn't use anything else.

Sennheiser HD-25 (not sp)

Very solid and hard wearing. All parts replaceable by user. Excellent
isolation from external noise. They do take a little while to break in
physicaly, the headband can be quite tight for some. But its split headband
keeps the headphones from splipping or moving. The earpads can be replaced
with soft velour type for comfortable use in hot weather or extended use.
You can be assured that if you drop them they'll be fine ( trust me Ive done
it alot!)
