Has anyone heard recordings made in quiet locations with very low noise mics using a D50? Curt Olson did some comparisons between Hi-MD, a Fostex FR2-LE and a SD 722 and the Fostex held up well to a 722 when using AT3032 mics. Oryoki posted this list of pros and cons on the D50, http://bioacoustics.cse.unsw.edu.au/archives/html/naturerecordists/2007-12/msg00151.html but I haven't come across recordings made with low noise mics as yet.
