Sorry if this has been mentioned already in the thread. . It is somewhat heart wrenching to watch in the movie "Grizzly Man" when Werner Herzog is listening to an audio recording (-under headphones so the audience cannot hear-) of the moments when Timothy Treadwell and his girlfriend are being mauled and devoured by the bear. Herzog told the owner of the tape that she should destroy it. It certainly must be an ultra-charged downer of a sound experience. Though he was a seemingly quirky human, Treadwell was diligent about keeping his recording equipment running to capture interesting moments like this. - TA |
