Sorry to be the bearer of bad news for you.

But it's not all bad news as the AT3032's run quite
happily on 15V Phantom. In my tests running them in
this way with the MixPre I encountered no problems
plus you don't need to use any filters either.
So as long as that is the same for the 302, which I
can't see why it should be any different, then your
gear choice will be OK.

[The AT3032's do seem to have a 'prodigious' bottom
end and running with the 80Hz filter did not appear to
compromise the sound in any way. But I can understand
wanting to record 'flat' in the first place, which is
what I intend doing.]

Looking at the list of mics on the web page of Sound
Devices that 'cause' this problem it is thankfully
very brief! Typical that the mic I decide to buy is
not on the list. - Doh!
