Chris, Would you enlightened us? I know this is a fundamental setting, but I too experience the low levels and I don't quite know what I should do in my audio editor (Sony's Sound Forge Audio Studio) to make my meters agree. Is there a default setting that I can set for both my recorder and PC? Many thanks.
