I would also imagine that anyone in the UK who
considers buying Sound Devices gear might feel a bit
put-out, as they sell it over here for twice the price
of what it costs in the USA! And on top of that they
stop dealers in the US shipping to the UK as well. It
would pay anyone thinking of buying a 744 to hop on a
plane and fly to the US buy one and then fly back. You
would still have change out of what the unit costs
over here!
Compare that to you being able to buy from Hong Kong a
Canon lens have it shipped to the UK by UPS and saving
=A3250 on the price of the lens in the UK, and you can
pay the import duty upfront saving any delay this end.
Free trade, don't you just love it!
Right that's got that off my chest.
