Also sounds like a faulty capacitor-- a problem my mkh-30 developed over ti=
me.

I have come across some mysterious interactions that were traceable
to mechanical vibrations. I'd first experiment with shock mounting.

Aluminum foil is new wrinkle. The capsules are oscillators. Could be
interference,.. if something isn't working correctly. Maybe post this
question to the Micbuilders list?
