hi Yannick,
VERY interesting, because i have a similar problem.
i wanted to start a similar topic the next days.
i have a mkh30 and 40 too, but i also had the problem with a mkh 50
which i tested one day, and i tested several mkh40, and ALL have the
same behavior.
i always have a high frequency sound, no matter if i have the mics
above each other or not.
but i don=B4t think that this is just because of my mics. bevore i
bought those i tested some mkh50 and 40. back then i thought that the
reason is that i used the mbox as a preamp.
then i tested them with my mackie 1202 VLZ pre amps, same thing...
now i have a SD 702, and new mics, same behavior..
i will load a test file the next days, i really wonder if this is
normal..
i mean, i can filter the high frequency away by using a high cut, but
its not really satisfying..
beside that, the mics are sounding great and i=B4m happy i bought
those..:_)
all the best
