Sorry Rob and everyone else for the incivility. I didn't intend it that
way. My mistake.
I was a rank newbie here just 3 years ago and all of you have been
unbelievably kind and patient with me, and have taught me mega-volumes
that I managed to miss in many long years of studio production work.
Since I'm not much of an equipment expert, I like to defer to those who
are, and therefore I usually tend to not respond to newbie questions.
But I hope to always pass on the favor of respectful encouragement to
those who are starting out.
That said, I'm still having a really hard time imagining why any of my
feeble attempts at nature recording -- especially my earliest attempts
-- would matter to anyone in 2057. Just my personal view at the moment.
I'm willing to be persuaded otherwise.
