Thanks for the advice re: listening. I've been able to borrow a Rode
NT4 for a couple of weeks and should be able to borrow a K6/ME66 for
at least a couple of days after I return the NT4, so that should at
least give me a couple of points of reference before I go to listen
to the cheaper shotguns.
I had a brief play with my new RH-1 and the NT-4 last night but I've
discovered the batteries are on their last legs and that the cable
has a built in pad so the result weren't up to much!! As always even
a small amount of "hands on" puts all the talk into a much clearer
perspective.
