It would most likely be the memory stick pro into a md
case but I agree that would be an amazing thing. I
have used the older MD and the HI-MD. The HI-MD
sounded better but was less reliable, our failers
happened in the Andes of Peru. I just ordered one of
the Fostex and am leaving for Costa Rica on the 25th
so I will have a field report of it at the end of
June. We will have  a bunch of different recorders
down there at the same time so I am going to be doing
some comparisons. 

Silica gel is a great thing. We keep all of our
electronics in sealed bags with Silica and usually
have no problems.
