Gianni, I used a Rode NT1-A and if I remeber correctly (it is one year ago), I used max gain on all recorders. I don't remember the gain for the normalization exactly. I just remember that I had to increase the HD-P2 section by about 6 dB in order to match the level of the 722 section. If you are interested, I could repeat the comparison between the HD-P2 and the SD722 in about 3 weeks with both a Rode NT1-a and a MKH 60.
