Are we discussing USB microphones? They have an internal Audio to Digital converter. The only one I've heard good thing about is Blue's Snowball: http://tinyurl.com/76gru) a company that otherwise makes very good and very= expensive mics. It's meant for podcasts and VO for home AV projects. |
