>is a "hard disc" the same as a "hard drive'? In the context of my note, the two terms are interchangeable. Both refer to a magnetic coating (the recording medium) on a metal disc disc substrate (the "hard" in hard disc), mounted in a box with electronics necessary to interface with a computer's data bus. --oryoki |
