I try to buy as many hard drives as I can John, I find the western digital
to be a reliable drive but yes, I back-up to numerous drives and CD/DVD.

In this day of digital age you can't be too careful. My analogue tapes are
re-digitalized and archived, with over 35 years of recordings one cant be
too cautious.
