Rory, just a little searching through our archives will reveal endless discussions of gear. If by 'recordings of this type' you mean more or less isolated bird recordings...a Telinga parabolic dish/mic and any number of digital recorders will serve you well. Probably the recorder you have will be fine. For a broader scope there are many other ways to go...just have a look in the archives. Danny |
