D'Oh! My mistake. The Studio Projects LSD2 is based on the C3, not the
C1 as I wrote. [slaps myself round face]
The Rode NT55 kinda looks promising too, though no tech specs on the
Rode site yet.

So the list is currently (as of 8pm, 27/8/06) looking thus:
- Sennheiser MKE44-p (info pleeeeeaaaase!)
- Shure VP88 (...but way too much self-noise!)
- Rode NT55 (info appreciated)
- Beyerdynamic MC833 (pricey, just under $2k U.S. at B&H)
