Early August I'm going to hike and record two days in Haleakala National Park. I won't be able to charge, so I want to make battery sleds for my good old Sharp 722s. The external power supplies are rated at 5V, and they deliver 6V with no load. They rate the output of their car powering adaptor at 4.5V. I'm presuming a holder with four alkaline D-cells (6V) would be appropriate, and should run a machine for days. Anybody have experience with this? -Dan |
