Dan, Wouldn't it be simpler to use the 722's external battery case for a single AA battery? Sharp claims the 722 with internal Li-Ion and external AA batteries is good for around 11 hours of recording at standard quality setting. If you prefer not to use the external battery case, on eBay I found replacement Lithium Ion batteries (model AD-S31BT), price $8.50 including shipping. Sharp says the fully-charged 800mAh Li-Ion battery will provide 8 hours of recording time. Using the standard minidisc, you will be changing discs after 80 minutes of stereo recording. It only takes a few seconds more to pop in a new battery, as needed. --oryoki |
