Rob You have mentioned putting a nylon sock over the NT4 capsules (I think?) as a second layer of wind protection. But perhaps not - the pictures show the sock over the gutter gaurd (and under any fake fur). Do you ever use wind protection directly over the mic itself? The movement of the mics within the wind protector seems to create enough air flow to trigger the NT4 wind response. Albeit when set to a very high gain... This is not knocking or friction and occurs when the elastic bands are set to a reasonable degree of tightness. The new wind capsule I devised includes enough space for the original NT4 wind cover inside but this doesn't seem to help. Any comments on this? Graham |
