Thanks for the considerate replies - I had not thought about the weight of the usiness end of the NT4, makes sense. Just want to add that I am not doing much nature recording these days, but glean a lot of useful information from the discussions - including suddenly realizing I inherited a set of Shure 183 mic heads when I upgraqded and client's wireless conference system. Now I need to adapt the mics and start playing with them! Can someone point me to how to adapt them to pip, or a source for the power adaptors so I can use them with my SD 744T?
