I've been using a homemade Jecklin disc setup with 3032's. It's based on th=
e Josephson
info, and also there is a plus20 page topic on making J-discs on the tapers=
section.com
microphone forum. I also have a shoulder mount setup for the 3032's and wil=
l try to make
some recordings in the next few days comparing the 2.

For the Jecklin, I use a 12 inch, 1/2 inch thich foam disc that I found at =
Ikea. This is
covered with terrycloth and held by a spring loaded mic clip, which is atta=
ched to the
middle of a standard stereo bar. On each side of the bar is a shockmount fo=
r the mics. The
mics are 6 1/2 inchs apart and I vary the toe out angle depending on what s=
ounds
good. The Josephson site has a photo showing the mics angled out slightly, =
but no info is
given as to the angle.
