Hi Matt,
You can transfer your stereo MD recordings using the
microphone jack of your laptop. Maybe you are using a
mono cable or your settings in your software are set
to mono recordings.
Check the cable and check the settings of your
software.
Of course, a sound card will do a better job but, if
you do not want to spend money right now in buying a
soundcard, you can work on your stereo recordings
transfering with the cable and with time make a
slow-good search for a soundcard for your needs.
