Re: MBHO microphones

Its been a few years since I've contacted them
and things could have changed, but when I wasn't
overly impressed with the "match" I got on my
first pair of omni 100D capsules, the New York
based distributor quickly shipped me another pair
to compare mine with, on the honor system. I
could hear some similarity to Greg's MK-21's that
I listened to, but they seem to differ quite a
lot in the 125-700Hz range. The biggest
attraction to MBHO might be the separate 603
transformers which allow one to mount just the
cap heads in extremely small, light weight, low
handling noise rigs. Rob D.
