I have a Rycote zepplin and windjammer that I would be willing to part
with for a few bills (e-mail off list for a price and details). I
don't have the actual mic mount or elastic in it, you would have to
buy/improvise the suspension. It is tripod mountable too.

I like the idea of a lightweight tripod becasue it allows you to be
further away from your recording, less disturbing for wildlife too.
Downside is you may have to bring long cables if you want to monitor
from a distance.

See Aaron's site and suggestions, I think both of these options are
appropriate for a recording trip. It's good to have backup system and
each has advantages specific conditions and locations.
