Terriffic! ME-62's fairly close? Late season? Very true about high
gain up close and then hard to capture much at all at more than 8
feet unless you're in a very quiet location. Low profile could be a
high priority. For a candid rig, maybe small omni capsules attached
to branches spread 13"-19"? Shure 183's could bottom out with a
close pass so an omni with detached capsule design like the Schoeps
