I defer to others on the equipment. Ruby throated hum birds are actually quite loud. I understand your desire for being able to record quiet locations. I had to drop the gain 2 times due to pre overload on this recording. I still need to meet with Mark Alt and sync his video to my audio and we will get that done some time. "Ruby hummers playing basketball". You can hear their tennis shoes squeek on the court as they play. 1.4 meg download. http://home.comcast.net/~richpeet/0428.mp3 Rich --- In "Steve Cox" <> wrote: > > Hello everyone, > > There are many sounds I'd like to capture but one such sound is the humming wing sounds > of the Ruby-throated Hummingbird. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
