Just a quickie, has anybody on this list heard Mallards whistle? I have had a question about them whistling, I have hours of mallard recordings but I cant recall any whistling! I know about this time they go through the courtship routine with plenty of quacking sounds for which I know I have..... Wood ducks and Whistling ducks but Whistling ducks are not found in Washington State.
