If I have understood Klas correctly (earlier post), many times we may be ov= er doing things with too much gain. That is, perhaps not really capturing t= he true balance of the sound we want in relation to the situation by over c= ompensating with the gain. This point has stuck with me and, I think, has i= mproved my recordings quite a bit. Thanks Klas. J. =20 |
