We would first have to figure out what it is. As far as I know there was
never a MKH-110/2 model. The choices I've seen is the MKH-110 and the
MKH-110-1. The MKH-110 is the more desirable for most uses as it's got
about 15dB greater sensitivity than the MKH-110-1. However if you are
into recording infrasonic stuff, the MKH-110-1 is spec'd to 0.1Hz
instead of just 1Hz with the MKH-110. As far as I've been able to find
out the MKH-110 and MKH-110-1 have the same self noise, about 15dBA.
Though I've found my MKH-110's seem a bit quieter than that. I've not
had the MKH-110-1's long enough to really sort them out except for the
sensitivity difference.
A few years ago I paid about $125-$145 each for new old stock MKH-110's
bought one by one on ebay. I just recently bought a bunch of MKH-110-1's
off of a test array that was being taken down for $40 each. I expected
and found that some were doa though internally they appear repairable
(the capsule appears perfect).
