Given the snow-pack this year, Tioga'll probably not be clear until 
sometime in early or mid-June, Walt. So be prepared for that 
possibility. Exact location of the froggies (Spea intermontanus) is 
approx N 38 deg 03 min 00 sec, W 119 deg 04 min 00 sec. It's a small 
pond north of the north shore of Mono Lake located at the old hot 
springs (don't go in 'em because of the arsenic) just east of Black 
Point.

They're all over the place now, although I dont know if they'll be 
here in this kind of density in May. All depends on how late the 
rains last (usually over by the end of March).
If things go as planned, I'll be heading to record a forest in 
Ontario in early May for much of the month, Walt. I'll be here til 
then and hope to finally meet you if you'll make it this far north.
