Hi Martin; Yes, I am going to the Scottish Highlands and Islands for all of May and June. We have done a motorhome exchange with someone in Scotland to give us maximum mobility and keep the price down. The Scottish seem to appreciate these concepts. We have joined the RSPB and the SOC. we are planning to visit a number of reserves in the the remote northwest and a number of islands including Orkney. We are really looking forward to visiting some of the seabird colonies as well as some of the numerous waders and songbirds. Our startpoint is Ardnamurchan Penninsula. My project will be called "Bird Songs of the Scottish Highlands and Islands" Best wishes John Neville Salt Spring Island BC Canada [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
