I guess it depends on how loud a thing you're pointing it at! I'm
about to try to record Beethoven's 9th Symphony on an MD with my
field rig (a community orchestra), and since I can't plug in pads,
I'm going to find out at the rehearsal if I can handle the levels. I
did do some thunder this summer, so I'm hoping I'm ok.

How are you arrying the mics?
