Maybe a little off topic since my need is currently not sound but I have no better place to ask and this may apply here as well. I do not have a Raid computer. I need a total mirror of my PC hard drive as the data is more important and has more value than the cost of a drive + risk. I want a way to copy my laptop hard drive completely so that should it fail I can just pop the external into the internal and use it as a boot drive that will be identicle to what I currently have. If I understand things correct, no windows utility will do this. How do I do this? Rich Peet Still on hold from nature recording while working Ivan. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
